SERVICES WE PROVIDE

ASYLUM I-589

Under U.S. law, asylum may be granted to aliens who can establish they have well-founded fear of persecution if they were forced to return to country of citizenship or last habitual residence. The persecution must be on account of political opinion, race, religion, nationality, or membership in a particular social group

AOS – ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS

Adjustment of status is the process that you can use to apply for lawful permanent resident status (also known as applying for a Green Card) when you are present in the United States. This means that you may get a Green Card without having to return to your home country to complete visa processing.

CONSULAR PROCESSING

If you are outside of the United States, you may apply at a U.S. Department of State consulate abroad for an immigrant visa in order to come to the United States and be admitted as a permanent resident. This pathway is referred to as consular processing.

DACA

The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was created to protect eligible young adults who were brought to the U.S. as children from deportation and to provide them with work authorization for temporary, renewable periods.

IMMIGRATION DETENTION BONDS

What is an immigration bond? A bond is an amount of money someone pays to the Department of Homeland Security to assure them that if you are released, you will come to court for all your future hearings (and ICE check-ins).

SIJ – SPECIAL IMMIGRANT JUVENILE

Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) is an immigration classification available to certain undocumented immigrants under the age of 21 who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by one or both parents.

U-VISA

The U nonimmigrant status (U visa) is set aside for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.

VAWA

You may qualify, affirmatively or defensively, for immigration relief under VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) if you have been a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault by a U.S. citizen or green card holder. If you are in removal/deportation court, we vigorously advocate in relevant cases for cancellation of removal for battered spouses.
